Bhante Kaundinya -  the Founder of Siddhartha School, sadly passed away in November 2013. He spent most of his time developing Buddhist historical sites in Bihar (the ancient city of Vaishali) and working on plans to open another school for deprived children in Bihar. His contribution to this project is invaluable. We are proud to continue with his mission to spread education in the poorest regions.
